Yes, we have all gone through the roller coaster of emotions of the "Microblading Process". Unfortunately, its inevitable. From tears of joy to tears of disappointment. It's true the brows your Microblading Artist took all that time perfecting are gone! okay okay so lets get to the bright side, While they are gone or lighten they haven't gone away forever. The skin is an amazing organ not to mention the largest one. That being said, the skin is constantly regenerating over the course of the healing process. I hate to break it to you but those pretty hair like strokes are not really hair! This why we must treat it like a wound. We must care for it as we would care for a cut or burn. Let your skin heal! Be patient. I usually scare my clients (tell them they can get an infection if not cared for properly which is totally true) and repeatedly tell them how to care for them verbally and send them home with written instructions. This way You understand this is no JOKE. Although your skin has a big effect on your healed results, so does your After Care etiquette! So moving on... Once you have reached about 4-6 weeks you'll notice the pigment get darker again. Depending on each individual you may lose anywhere from 30-60% in color. Usually, your first touch-up determines how your skin takes and at this time your artist may need to go darker or bolder (your 2nd session is crucial). I always tell my clients' let's take baby steps. I rather you come back and gradually build the brows of your dreams than to have an eyebrow nightmare! Everyone heals differently and this is why your sisters or best friends brows took so much better than yours when it was done by the same artist even on the same day! I know its not fair, not at all! but before you lose hope on your stubborn skin you will be pleased to know that there are other options. Oily skin tends to fade quicker than someone with normal to dry skin so in that case a powder brow is usually recommended. Powdered brows are created using a tattoo machine. Again, don't freak out it won't look like you have two sharpies on your face or like the old lady you saw the other day at the grocery store with pencil thin, 1990 tattooed eyebrows (Thank god for evolvement!). Even though we do use the machine we use a very different technique a feather-like stroking motion to create eyebrows that look so naturally powdered, natural with a little umph.

I often get asked about why did I choose this field and if I enjoy what I do.
It’s a question I’ll never get tired of answering. For as long as I remember, I always had a passion for beauty and people. Why do I love what I do ? So let’s be honest, it’s not just the girl talk I love having with my clients or even the precious relationships I get to build. It’s the feeling I get when I see my clients eyes light up or a tear that sometimes follows. Eyebrows are not just eyebrows for the client who has undergone chemotherapy and can’t grow them back . Eyebrows are not just eyebrows for the client who has alopecia and all she or he wants is to look normal. Eyebrows are not just eyebrows to the person who suffers with trichotillomania and pulling is sometimes beyond their control. Eyebrows are not just eyebrows when I see the smiles on your faces I know I have done my job. I know I have made a change in someone’s life even if it’s a small one. Every women deserves to feel and look their best. I want all my clients to see the beautiful person they already are. Normal, dry, oily, or combo? What’s your skin type? Most of us want normal skin – that means smaller pores, a good amount of moisture, and an even tone. Having dry skin means that is often irritated and may become flaky. There is very little moisture to dry, and may feel tight at times. if you suffer from oily skin can, it can sometimes feel greasy to the touch, even a few hours after washing. While your skin type can be genetic, there are quite a few factors that play a part: age, diet, exercise, and even illness.
A key component to healthy skin, and the number one rule to follow is to always, always wear a facial sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30. This will help prevent both damage and wrinkles. 1. Don’t be afraid of your lash line. To make the lash line look fuller, keep your lid closed and place the pencil as close to the lash line as you can. 2. Switch up the color (subtly). Mix black and brown together to create a custom color for your skin tone. Play around with a few different colors and see what’s right for you. Get your friend’s opinions and take a few selfies to see how it looks. 3. Take your time. Give liner the attention it needs and go slow. If you have to rush your liner, it’s best to skip the step altogether. Eyeliner is one thing that should be placed as perfect as possible.
